A DJ with a basic sound setup in your city costs ₹15,000–₹35,000 per night. A full package with line-array sound, dance-floor lighting and a wireless mic setup runs ₹50,000–₹1,20,000. Live bands start around ₹80,000, and a dhol team for the baraat is typically ₹8,000–₹25,000.

Usually not — most DJs cover both as a package, which is cheaper than two bookings and means one setup. Book separately only if you want a live band for one function and a DJ console for the other.
A standard wedding DJ setup needs roughly 10x8 feet for the console and speaker stacks, plus a dedicated power point and generator backup. Share the venue details with the DJ before booking; retrofitting a large sound system into a low-ceilinged hall does not work well.
